Twenty-two-year old engineering apprentice Teah Olsen, from Bellbird Park, will join the WorldSkills Queensland team at the national competition to test her skills in the fitting and turning trade, having previously won gold at the Queensland regional competition.
Gympie cabinetmaking apprentice Elijah Allen is preparing to demonstrate his skills on a national stage, with the 19-year-old among 73 of Queensland’s top trainees and apprentices representing the state at the 2021 WorldSkills Australia National Championships in Brisbane from 26-28 August.
Representing Australia in refrigeration and air conditioning, Patrick Brennan has kept his cool and won bronze at the 45th WorldSkills International Championships.
