If you are current in industry and wanting to expand your skills in the barbering space this is the course for you.

Ideally it's designed for existing Managers/ Employers/ Employees in the Hairdressing industry that have completed Certificate III in Hairdressing. Apprentices and Direct Entry students near completion can also enrol to add the barbering skills to their portfolio.

Entry requirements

Selection criteria

Designed for existing Managers/Employers/Employees who have completed a Certificate III in Hairdressing and who are wanting to expand their skills in Barbering.

It is also highly recommended that you have successfully completed Year 10 (or equivalent).

If you're under 17 years of age, special enrolment conditions may apply.

Resources required

It is recommended that students have access to a reliable internet connection to access TAFE Queensland's online learning system Connect, and a computer with up-to-date software, including Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat Reader. This equipment and software is available for students to use at all TAFE Queensland locations.

Robina Campus 
The Robina campus is a BYOD (Bring Your Own Device) campus for general learning. 
Neat professional appearance required.  Students need to wear black clothing, including fully enclosed black shoes.
