Acacia Ridge
The Acacia Ridge campus is our flagship trade training centre spanning more than 22 hectares. The campus is based on the south side of Brisbane approximately 15 kilometres from the Brisbane CBD and is home to some of our newest facilities with the recent completion of a $200 million capital works program.

Our Acacia Ridge campus offers a comprehensive range of trade related courses in automotive, building and construction, electrotechnology, engineering, manufacturing and design, resources and mining, transport, and utilities. New state-of-the-art facilities include an engineering and automotive precinct and electrical training facility, as well as new administration hub and student resource centre.

Public transport
Our Acacia Ridge campus is accessible via bus and train with the closest bus stop located at Bradman Street and the closest train station at Coopers Plains.
Cycling
If you live nearby, cycling could be another cost effective option to get to class with bike racks available on campus.
Parking
We have plenty of free on-site parking available for students at our Acacia Ridge campus.
Automotive Training Facility
Our automotive training facility includes 40 air-conditioned classrooms and 20 workshops equipped with the latest technology and equipment. We have new truck and car donations from Iveco, Mack, Kenworth, Komatsu, Toyota, Nissan, Chrysler, and Holden. Additional training facilities include three engine and two chassis dyno's, state-of-the-art wheel alignment and brake testing stations, and specialised training rooms for diesel fuel, auto electrical, and air-conditioning.
Engineering and Manufacturing
Our $25 million purpose-built engineering training facility houses specialist training for the boilermaking, welding, sheet-metal fabrication, machining, and fitting trades. The facility includes 18 classrooms, two purpose-built metallurgical laboratories, and fully equipped workshops including welding bays, lathes, mills, and computer numerical controlled (CNC) machines. Our Advanced Manufacturing Centre houses Australia's premier foundry, the only one of its kind in the Southern Hemisphere.
Refrigeration and Air Conditioning
Our refrigeration and air-conditioning training facilities are world-class and renowned in industry. Housed in our purpose-built $20 million electrotechnology training spaces, our facilities include an industrial cascade refrigeration system, ammonia plant rooms, 20 coldrooms, full operational service bar, VAV systems, two air-conditioning plant rooms, and hydrocarbon and Co2 systems.
